Are you an emerging GC musician, making original music, and wanting to showcase your sounds to the world?

Then the A-Venue Youth Music Initiative wants to give YOU the opportunity to showcase your music.

Here’s how it works … Council’s Cultural Development Unit has linked up with events around the Gold Coast to give you the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and experience. We are now accepting submissions from young and emerging bands/solo artists to be considered for showcasing opportunities. Recent opportunities include: Big Day Out, Quiksilver Pro Show, Waterfront Food and Wine Festival, and Coastal Grind.

Submissions close 4.30pm on 16 October 2009.
